Travel Tips - When Coming to Ocean City
Here are a few "tips" we've picked up over the years ... that should make your next trip to ocean City, just a little bit easier.

Bring Lots of Quarters
At some point, you will probably need them for parking meters. Even if the place you are staying has parking ... you will (most likely) end up somewhere in Ocean City that uses parking meters.

Bring Bed Linens and Towels
Some people are suprised to find that rental properties in Ocean City do not provide these items. Be sure to ask in advance, the size of the beds, so you can pack the appropriate linens.

Bring Sweatshirts
No matter how hot it gets in Ocean City during the day ... the cool ocean breeze can get chilly at night. Pack a sweatshirt just to be safe.

Pack an Ice Cooler Full of Drinks
This is a really helpful "tip". When you arrive at your rental property, you have a bit of work to do. Walking into a property whose air conditioning was probably not set properly and unpacking and making beds ... wouldn't it be nice to have something cold to drink? Well, you could stop everything and run out to the store ... or you could bring it with you in advance!

Beach Supplies
Typically, you can purchase suntan lotion, beach chairs, beach towels, etc ... much cheaper at home from Walmart or CVS or somewhere like that. If you forget to do this, there are plenty of stores in town that can help you. Check our Business Directory for a complete list.
